Comment inbox

Review and reply to audience comments on your published posts across connected platforms.

AI agents: use llms.txt for the guide index, or read this page as Markdown.

The Inbox collects comments left on your published posts across connected platforms into one list, so you can triage and reply without visiting each platform.

Comments appear here after your published posts sync — a new post’s comments won’t show up until the next sync runs. While the Inbox is open it refreshes on its own; an Updating… indicator in the header appears when fresh comments are being fetched.

Filtering comments

The filter bar offers:

  • All / Unreplied — a quick toggle between every synced comment and only those with no reply yet.
  • Platform — narrow the list to one platform (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or Threads) or all platforms.
  • Reply status — filter by each comment’s reply state: Not replied, Queued, Processing, Replied, Failed, or Needs reconciliation.

Each comment card shows the author’s name and avatar, the platform it came from, when it was posted, the comment text, and — once you reply — your reply underneath.

The list is paginated 20 comments at a time with Previous / Next controls. Your sidebar Brand Profile selection scopes which comments you see.

Replying to a comment

  1. Select the Brand Profile that owns the post in the sidebar — Reply only appears on comments owned by the active profile, and only when the comment has no reply yet (or the previous reply failed and is retryable).
  2. Click Reply, write your response, and click Send.

Replies are queued for delivery rather than posted instantly, and the comment’s status tells you what happened:

StatusWhat it means
Queued / ProcessingYour reply is on its way to the platform.
RepliedThe reply was delivered.
FailedDelivery failed — the reason is shown. When the failure is retryable, Reply reappears so you can resend.
Needs reconciliationMeltiply could not confirm the reply reached the platform — check the post on the platform itself before doing anything else, since replying again could post a duplicate. The Reply button is unavailable while the outcome is unconfirmed.

If sending fails, the error is shown inline and your draft text stays in place so you can fix it or use Try again. Cancel closes the reply box without sending — reopening Reply on that comment brings your text back.

Replies may be limited by your plan. A banner appears at the top of the Inbox when replies are unavailable or a plan limit is near — see Billing.

Replies go out under the channel that published the post. The Inbox covers comments on your posts — direct messages, mentions, and ad-hoc conversations are not included.
