# Analytics

Track impressions, engagement, reach, and per-post performance across your connected channels.

The **Analytics** screen shows how your published posts perform across platforms. Metrics are collected from your connected channels after posts publish — the figures are the values your platforms report back to Meltiply.

## Choosing what you're looking at

- **Brand Profile** — the header shows whether you're viewing one Brand Profile or **All Brand Profiles**. Switch profiles in the sidebar to scope every number on the screen to that profile.
- **Time range** — the segmented control in the header selects the reporting window: **7d** (last 7 days), **30d** (default), or **90d**. The summary cards, channel breakdown, and each post's metric history use this window.

## Summary metrics

The top cards report totals across your published posts in the selected range:

- **Total Impressions** — how many times your posts were shown, with the number of published posts they came from.
- **Engagements** — combined likes, comments, and shares, with the average engagement rate when it can be computed (engagements ÷ impressions).
- **Reach** — unique viewers across platforms.
- **Views** — video and post views.

A smaller strip underneath reports the individual **Likes**, **Comments**, **Shares**, and **Posts** totals.

## Channel performance

The **Channel Performance** panel lists each platform reporting in the range with its impressions, published post count, and engagement rate. The footer shows **Last synced** — the most recent time metrics were collected — so you can judge how fresh the numbers are.

## Post performance

The **Post Performance** table lists your latest published posts with their channel, publish date, and current impressions, engagements, and views for the selected range.

Click a row (or its chevron) to expand the post's metric history:

- A trend chart you can switch between **Views**, **Likes**, **Comments**, and **Shares**.
- A stat strip with the latest **impressions**, **reach**, and **watch seconds**.

A "—" means there is no data to show: the post has no recorded metrics in the selected range (newly published posts appear after their first sync). Reported figures are real numbers — a true zero displays as `0`, not "—". The same applies to engagement rate in Channel Performance: it shows "—" only when there are no impressions to compute it from.

## Coverage and freshness notices

An info banner appears at the top whenever one or more platforms can't report metrics:

- It names the affected platforms as unsupported — they don't expose metrics to Meltiply. Their published posts still count toward **Posts**, but they contribute 0 to the metric totals.
- The banner's **partial** label refers to that same coverage gap; it is not a "still syncing" indicator. To judge freshness, use **Last synced** in Channel Performance.

If the screen fails to load, a banner offers **Try again** to refetch.

## Preview panels

Two areas are labelled **Preview** because they aren't connected to live data yet:

- **Link Clicks** and **Net Growth** cards — illustrative figures; shortlink click tracking and follower-growth syncing are not connected yet.
- **AI Insights** — illustrative suggestions; automated analysis is not connected yet.

## Where else metrics appear

The [Posts](/publishing) list and grid show the same metric columns and the calendar day dialog shows the same stat strip — but per-post analytics are not wired into those views yet, so every value there reads "—". Open the **Post Performance** table here for a post's recorded history.
